Help with The Family Cart

The Play edition is an offline-only shopping list. No account or login is needed.

Adding items

Type “We need 2 apples and milk” or simply “paper towels,” then tap “Add to list.” Tap the checkbox to mark an item purchased. Tap “Edit” to change its name, quantity, or store.

Sharing shopping requests

Tap “Share list” and select WhatsApp, Messages, email, or another installed app from Android’s chooser. You decide when to send. To import text from another app, use its Share command and select The Family Cart. Review the text before accepting.

Offline and privacy

All items are stored on your Android device; this release does not synchronize automatically across phones. It does not read WhatsApp, SMS, RCS or notifications. Read our Privacy Policy.
